'Malu' means peacefulness in Hawaiian. When you visit Malu Day Spa, you enter a space where our goal is help you achieve your own peacefulness. Green products, clean, open design, and comfortable surroundings will inspire you to relax and turn your attention to the beauty inside you and around you. Our hope is to be a place where pretensions are left behind and where wellbeing in mind and body are given utmost priority. A subtle nod to the tropics is incorporated into the spa; our décor incorporates warm woods and splashes of colors inspired by the sea and tropical flora, and our product lines incorporate organic botanicals such as banana, sugar cane, mango, ginger and bamboo…to name just a few.

Policies
Cancellation: Please inform us within 24 hours of your appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule. A cancellation fee of 50% of the service(s) booked will be charged if the appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. Missed appointments will be charged the full amount of the service.
Discounts and Specials: Our offers are made in good faith and should be respected in kind. We reserve the right to refuse abuse of our discounts and specials.
Spa Etiquette: Malu Day Spa is a quiet and peaceful environment. We request that loud conversations, phone calls, etc be left to the outside world.
Walk-ins and Appointments: If you are in the neighborhood and we are available, we would love to have you drop in for a spa menu, to make an appointment, or to simply see our lovely space. However, we do require that you make an appointment for your treatment. Our door may be locked if we are occupied with clients in order to maintain serenity for those inside the spa. Hours
By appointment: Wednesday through Saturday 10:00 - 6:00-ish & Sunday 11:00 - 5:00-ish.
If you need to schedule an appointment outside normal hours, let us know; we will make efforts to work with your schedule when possible.

Gift Certificates
You may purchase a gift certificate for a specific service/ package, or in a dollar amount for the recipient to use for their desired treatment. Ask us about creating special packages: we will put together the perfect combination of services for the lucky recipient. Come visit us to purchase in person, or give us a call to purchase over the phone and we will send it in the mail. Gift Certificates are not returnable/refundable.
